Prerequisites in curricula

In the study board's curricula (under module descriptions) the term “prerequisite” (“forudsætninger” in Danish) is used in a number of the course modules. The prerequisites described are meant as guiding and describes which previous modules the relevant module is based on. The prerequisites indicate, which modules are recommended to complete to fully benefit from the relevant module.

Joint programme regulations

In the study board's curricula, please also note that the earlier "rammestudieordning" is replaced by the joint study programme regulations "fællesbestemmelser".

assesment criteria

In the study board's curricula (under module descriptions) the assesment criteria (“vurderingskriterier” in Danish) refer to the joint study programme regulations ("Fællesbestemmelser"). However, the assement criteria are now described in a seperate document called Vurderingskriterier.

Problem based learning and project management

All students who have not participated in Aalborg University’s PBL introductory course during their Bachelor’s degree must attend the introductory course “Problem-based Learning and Project Management”. The introductory course must be approved before the student can participate in the project exam. For further information, please see the PBL module description.
